Day 1. Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. House of Waine is set on 2.5 acres that blend the elegance of gracious living with the spirit of modern Africa in an exclusive and serene setting. The aim is to provide guests with an experience that exceeds all their expectations of city hotels and is punctuated by personalised, friendly, excellent service and cuisine, in beautiful surrounding. Day 2. Mount Kenya.
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Ol Pejeta conservancy to arrive in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive and visit the Chimpanzee and black Rhino sanctuaries. Return to your house before dark. For a very rare opportunity to see nocturnal animals which you don’t get to see during the day, a night game drive is included.

Day 3. Lake Nakuru.
Breakfast at the house. Check out thereafter and begin your scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Skirt the Aberdare Mountain ranges as you explore the Kenyan highlands covered in coffee and tea plantations. Lunch at your lodge followed by some time to settle in.
Evening game drive in the park and around the Lake.  This is an all time favourite for visitors as well as locals. Just Lake Nakuru national park is an Ornithologist’s paradise. Millions of Flamingos live on this lake feeding on algae, their main diet. The fishing Pelicans are also seen in large colonies swimming among the Flamingos as they go about their fishing errands. Stilts, Cormorants, Goliath Heron, Egret and Maasai Ostrich are just some of the birds to be found around the lake. The park surrounds the lake and was recently designated as a Rhino sanctuary. Here, both the black and the white Rhino are regularly seen with ease. It is also one of the best parks to observe Leopard whose population here is impressive. This is home to the rare and endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Other game includes cape Buffalo, Waterbuck, Impala, Gazelle, Common Zebra and Lion.

Flamingo Hills Camp is situated within the park, nestled between the “honeymoon hills”, and set in beautifully landscaped grounds with natural foliage and a variety of indigenous African plants and flowers. The camp provides superb tented accommodation in an eco-friendly establishment.

Day 4. Maasai Mara.
After breakfast drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be transferred to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve – a jewel of Africa. Upon arrival your camp driver guide will transfer you to your camp. Dinner and overnight at SARUNI MARA. FB
 

Day 5. Maasai Mara.
Day spent exploring Maasai Mara game reserve. On this day there is an opportunity to ‘take to the skies’ for a flight of your lifetime on a hot air balloon. All meals, overnight at SARUNI MARA.  FB

Day 6. Maasai Mara.
Another day spent in Maasai Mara, a chance for you to spot the animals you have not yet spotted on this safari. It is also a day to recline at the lodge’s lounge during the hottest part of the day and discuss your safari adventure with other safari goers. All meals and overnight at SARUNI MARA. FB

Day 7. Nairobi.

After breakfast check out and transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the famous Carnivore restaurant for lunch. “Simply an orgy for meat lovers - try the barbequed camel, ostrich or crocodile amongst other varieties of meat which will be brought to your table on Maasai spears. The waiters don’t stop coming with their chunky meats until you lower the flag in surrender.” Carnivore is a meat eater’s paradise!!
 

A short city tour of Nairobi and last minute shopping as you wind up your deluxe safari Bongo. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your onward flight. BL
