Day 1. Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. House of Waine is set on 2.5 acres that blend the elegance of gracious living with the spirit of modern Africa in an exclusive and serene setting. Day 2. Amboseli.
After breakfast check out and depart for Amboseli National park. Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of mount Kilimanjaro, ‘Africa’s rooftop’. There are over 600 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring some of the biggest in Africa. Tortilis Camp, where you will be staying, is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn trees, Acacia Tortilis, and is situated in one of Amboseli’s Tortilis woodland areas with the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Game drives, escorted bush walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the park, and within a private 30,000 acre game concession. The tents are all large and spacious with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro. In the early evening set out for a game drive in the park. Return to the camp before dark.

Day 3. Amboseli.
Spend another day in Amboseli national park with a morning and an afternoon game drive. Here is one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and a host of plains' game create Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. The swamps and springs are home to schools of hippo and a playground for birds whose population here is impressive. All meals and overnight at Tortilis camp. FB
Day 4. Tsavo West.
After an early morning game drive return to your camp for breakfast and then drive to Tsavo West National park to arrive at you camp in time for lunch. Tsavo’s ecosystem constitutes 10 million acres of pure, untouched wilderness, encompassing open savannah, riverine and montane forests and freshwater springs. A dominant feature of Tsavo West is the jet-black lava outcrop known locally as Shetani (devil) winding through the hills and peppered with caves. Shetani is a reminder of the volcanic forces that brought Tsavo into being. Exploring the park from Finch Hattons you will rarely see another vehicle or any other sign of human presence as you track game.
Tsavo is known for its herds of “red elephants”, their skins stained by the ochre dust and mud which in this region is red. The park is home to over 12,000 elephants – one of the largest populations in East Africa. Other commonly seen species include giraffe, zebra, eland, buffalo, impala, hartebeest, bushbuck, wildebeest, Kudu and many more. Evening game drive in the park. Return to your camp before dark. Day 5. Tsavo West.
Spend a second day in Tsavo West national park with morning and afternoon game drives. An easy hour’s drive from the camp is Mzima Springs, where a gushing supply of fresh, crystal clear water has created an oasis for wildlife. It is home to several pods of hippo, crocodile and shoals of barbell and catfish. A specially constructed underwater observatory provides visitors with a special view into the underwater world of Mzima. This park hosts more than 60 major mammal species and over a thousand plant species. All meals and overnight at Finch Hatton’s Safari Camp. FB
Day 6. Diani Beach.
After breakfast depart for Mombasa. Check in at your hotel on Diani beach and have lunch. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the beach and the activities offered at the hotel. Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all-inclusive luxury resort situated on Mombasa’s Diani beach. Free day to enjoy the beach. The South of Mombasa is a tropical paradise of white sand beaches, turquoise waters and coral reefs. The protective reefs have created ideal beaches, bordered by coastal rainforests with abundant birdlife and a variety of wildlife. Our rep will discuss with you the optional excursions you can take. All meals and overnight at Kinondo Kwetu. FB
Day 8. Mombasa
Another day at leisure on the beach. The following are included during your stay at Kinondo Kwetu: soft drinks, beer, house wine & non-luxury spirits, exercise gym, mountain biking, & tennis, excursions to Kinondo community works, wood-fired sauna, canoing, dhow & ngalawa sailing, snorkelling equipment and laundry. After breakfast check out and transfer to Moi International airport for your domestic scheduled flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival check in for your onward flight back home. B
