Day 4. Maasai Mara.
Day spent in Maasai Mara, another chance to track the Big Five and other game. Maasai Mara is pristine African wilderness. The reserve is world famous for its vast assemblage of plains’ game together with their assorted predators. It is perhaps the only area remaining in the world where one may see wildlife in the same super abundance as existed years ago. It is the stage for the annual migration – hundreds of thousands of Wildebeest and Zebra follow the timeless ritual of migration, moving from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in search of fodder as they have done since time immemorial. The reserve is home to the largest population of lions to be found in Kenya, as well as huge herds of Topi and other antelopes.
